Sadly, the sun is going down on the SS United States and only in the future will people appreciate what was lost.

You now that the bulk of the picuters are from the Olympic and not from the titanic.Because they where sister ships the yard have a lot of puctures from her build they didn't need it necessary to take again all the picuters of the build because photography was very expensive at the time.

I see it getting scrapped too expensive or too far gone to restore

Real shame about this ship they should of restored it years ago and turned into hotel part museum like the queen Mary in new york

Does anyone know why, being such a successful tv series, they never released a metal diecast truck, in 1:20 scale??? Not even in any scale version, it went on sale, From what I was able to investigate, the only versions were always like this, They were just buildable plastic toys. what a pity I was lucky enough to buy, 20 years ago, a special limited version, metal diecast, but very small. But it had a flaw, that the roof of the trailer came in white, and not red... (I always asked myself, why? they painted it white), maybe some copyright or licensing issue.. Does anyone know if it is possible to find this truck in a 1:20 diecast metal version? (perhaps, in another color) i.e. a Kenworth K100- Aerodyne or some similar version? and maybe, pay someone, so to paint it, with the classic colors; Red and white

Nicely done. Gold is great! However, we didn't get to see the end caps with the many drilled holes! Did you have trouble with the starboard nacelle where it joins the pylon?

Did...did they totally cheap out and reuse the Enterprise-D sounds!? I know that phaser sound anywhere...plus, back in the day, a girl I went to school with had the Enterprise-D. It was when she played those sounds that I told her why I never bothered to get it (or the B, or any of the other Playmates offerings): they looked okay, but they sucked as toys...

You know Jerry, I don’t recall ever seeing any Diamond Select ships here in the UK, never mind Tricorders, Phasers etc; maybe it was a licensing thing and they were only available in US and Canada? If I’d had seen them, I’d have snapped them up so quickly lol!

Nice kit. Good review. Toss out the masts and yard arms as the plastic ones bend too easily when rigging and make new ones out of wood. As with any kit do your research first to produce a more accurate ship. 37:01

The toy itself appeared on screen in an episode of "Star Trek: Voyager", the 6th episode of season 4, titled "The Raven". We see 7 of 9 as a normal human child before her assimilation examining/playing with a model of a Borg cube as she travels aboard her parents' private research vessel, the "Raven" (title drop). They've heard legends of this mysterious species and decide to investigate, having no idea of the mortal danger they pose.

I have a 1.400 scale model to but it's not made by Revell it's from the TITANIC museum it has real metal parts and people to go with it no I never put it together

Well they almost got my money. But then I realized adam savage was involved. I won't do business with any company that makes such bad choices and uses such deceptive scumbags to support their obviously garbage products on the masses of star trek fans. Shame on the wand company and anyone that has anything to do with it.

I really enjoyed making the Minicraft 1/350 Titanic, so I ended up building 3 in total. I might attempt the Occre kit someday. Good video 😊

The US government certainly worked efficiently and effectively in 1912. Sinking on 4/15/1912. Special Sub-Committee started taking testimony on 4/19/1912 and the committee's final report with substantial recommendations published on 5/28/1912.

I recommend doing all the planking before gluing any of the deck structures in place.
